The CliC Tradie has the same frame shape and all the great features as the ORIGINAL READER but was developed for those blokes (and gals) in mind, who require something a bit tougher for on-the-job.
High-vis band contributes to the safety aspects and although these glasses are NOT safety compliant, many guys and gals who use them say thay they are the safest option in optical glasses while on site. The strap keeps the glasses in place if you are working at odd angles and when you remove them, they sit up high and will not dangle in front of the tools etc.
The CliC Tradie has been so popular as a 'second pair' or 'work pair', that we have decided to maintain the introductory price of $60 as an on-going offer.
Each band comes with adjustable sliding connectors on the arms, however there are 3 sizes offered in the CliC Tradie range, as follows:
REGULAR: fits 70% of adult heads
LONG: is 1cm longer than the Regular frame at each temple. The temple pin also kinks out to widen the frame sightly.
XXL: Great for our ‘boof-headed’ gents. The XXLarge frame is the same frame as the Long but it also has an extender in the centre-back of the band. This helps to widen the band.
+1.50 / +2.00 / +2.50 / +3.00
WHY WE LOVE THEM: Soooo convenient for those busy days on site. Even women love the soft grey & funky colours.
WHY YOU MAY NOT LIKE THEM: If you are a professional you may prefer one of the more conservative or classic colours offered in the CliC Original Reader range.
CliC Tradie is a CliC Original Frame. Check CliC Original for Sizes.
Tradie reading glasses.By: Vince Johnson on 30 October 2017Tradie glasses are the best glasses I have every had. Can’t lose them break them when they stay around your neck when your working. Can’t wait to get my new pair
Great for hard labour!By: Alan on 26 October 2017While not as cheap as a $5 magnifier, the Clic Tradie is more robust and always with you, doesn't fall your face when you have your head down and tucks in neatly under your chin when not in use - far better than dangling from a string getting in the way. A pair lasts me about a year of constant daily use, on and off many times a day. When they do eventually break, a bit of duct tape generally holds them together long enough to get another pair if you weren't smart enough to have already purchased a spare set. The only downside is that they are difficult to put on your nose one-handed so plan ahead rather than be caught dangling by one hand while you try to see where the next handhold is! Wear bigger safety specs on top of your Tradies when grinding metal - I have had two separate occasions where a tiny fragment of metal got past them and lodged in my eye while using an angle grinder. They draw a lot of positive comments from other people so quite often you will find yourself being a spokesperson for Clic Tradies.
Never without themBy: Tony on 25 October 2017No more time lost looking for my glasses on site, they're always round my neck( except when I sleep)
