CliC profile
CliC USA
The very clever and innovative magnetic connection eyewear concept was
created by Ron Lando, CEO of CliC Products, USA . Lando is not new to
the eyewear industry. His family owned Style Eyes of California for 20
years with Ron at the helm as president. After selling the family business,
Ron formed Exis Eyewear in 1996. In 2000, CliC became the new off-spring
from Exis Eyewear. After 18 months of research and development CliC proved
the feasibility of the lightweight, front-connecting concept.
Throughout the 80's and 90's Ron consulted on several major eyewear
manufacturing and design initiatives. Many of today's leading sport eyewear
brands can trace their original designs and current success to Ron's
efforts and ideas.
“New products with this type of common sense appeal aren't introduced
every year,” explains Lando. “Judging from our initial response, the
eye glass industry is anxiously awaiting a new design for eyewear.”
CliC Readers are just one item from within the CliC Products family.
The range includes CliC Goggles, CliC BluBlockers and CliC Sunnies (due
for release early in 2005.)
CliC Australia and New Zealand
Helen Najar brought CliC Products to the Australian and New Zealand
markets in August 2003.
Upon asking the question, “why CliC?” Helen answers that the magnetic
connection innovation caught her attention immediately. It was a product
with ‘wow-factor' and not only strong on gimmick, but totally practical.
The other contributing factor to her readiness to work with the CliC
collection of products was the high quality of workmanship. It was clear
that much time had been spent in the research and development. CliC was
a brand that she could feel confident to promote.
Helen brings 25 years of wholesale, retail, and import experience to
the brand and is committed to a professional and widespread distribution
of the products ensuring ease of acquisition and superior service and
sales support.
